Reacting to the viral video online, where a Nigerian soldier was seen interrogating a man who appeared to be ‘mentally deraigned’, after they saw him with bundles of naira notes.
So the soldier told the man who appeared to be ‘mentally deraigned’ to lay out all he had with him on the floor, which the man obeyed.
The mentally deraigned man brought of him bundles of Naira note, nylon that contained an unidentified item, a necklace with a coin as a pendant, and a spoilt phone.
When the soldiers questioned him, the man was very clear and realized that a coin was hanging from his necklace.
One of the soldiers explained the reason for the search by saying they came across the man with the cutlass while rummaging through a nearby trash can.
Finally, the soldier said, that the man might have been rich before his mental illness.
