Amidst the Seven Months of ASUU Strike, the Federal University Oyo Ekiti, FUOYE, has on its students’ portal changed the level of students from their present level to the next level.
FUOYE was on the second semester program before the strike started, which led to every student and lecturer going back home, not working for months.
According to YOMSDIRECT MEDIA, who discovered this from the students’ portal of the institution, where it was changed.
A 300-level student has been automatically moved to the next level.
How to check the change in your portal:
Go to your student portal
Put in your matric number and password.
Refresh the portal.
Students took to social media to express their outrage at the change, with many claiming it was the result of a blunder by the institution’s team.
The strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, might be the sudden cause of this change by the university as it’s got a list of demands to be met by the government.
