Fear Women: Brown, a former Manchester United player, has reportedly gone bankrupt after his divorce.

Former Manchester United center-back Wesley Michael Brown, popularly known as Wes Brown, has reportedly become bankrupt after a year of divorce.

According to the report by the Daily Mirror, His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) filed a bankruptcy petition against the former England international at the end of February 2023.

This news was declared by the High Court on April 12th, and it was publicly made known at the beginning of this week.

The 43-year-old man has won 23 England caps between 1999 and 2010.

During his career at Manchester United, he won five Premier Leagues, two Champions Leagues, league cups, FA Cups, and individual recognitions. He also earned approximately £50,000 per week.

His destitution happened after a year when he divorced his wife, Leanne, 46, whose career was as a reality TV star on the show Real Housewives of Cheshire.
