Girl stoned to death in Calabar metropolis

At the well-known Eleven-Eleven roundabout in Calabar, a woman who appeared to be in her early 20s was stoned to death.

She was stoned to death in the early hours of Friday.

Her body was seen at the roundabout with few stones left beside her, and her whole body was covered with injuries.

Still yet her identity is unknown.

Her dead corpse had been surrounded by sympathizers who were trying to identify her.

At 8:00am the police arrived with a pick up van so as to remove the corpse.

Irene Ugbo, police PRO, has not yet responded to the event, as at the time of report.

Next to Millennium Park, where the State and military stage significant parades and events, is the Eleven-eleven roundabout.
