Guinness Nigeria gave Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume, and other outstanding female athletes and para-athletes who competed for Nigeria at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and World Athletics Championship a magnificent welcome.

Athletes, celebrities, socialites, and sports reporters all attended the celebrating extravaganza on Thursday, September 22 at the new Guinness Headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos. With lots of thrilling events, guests had a real Guinness VIP experience. Bolanle served as the event’s emcee, and DJ Anonymous entertained guests with electrifying tunes. The event’s high point was a fantastic toast to the extraordinary talents at 17:59 Guinness time, which was closely followed by the awarding of 2,000,000 to Tobi Amusun for setting the 100-meter hurdles Guinness world record, 1,000,000 to all gold medalists, 750,000 to all silver medalists, and 500,000 to all bronze medalists for their incredible athletic accomplishments.
Guinness reaffirms its mission to empowering creative talents, promoting diversity, honoring achievement, and establishing cultural landmarks through the continuing Black Shines Brightest initiative with this appropriate tribute to Tobi Amusan, the current African, Commonwealth, and World Champion.
