As HiFL 2022 edition sets to end on 24th of September in Lagos, four university teams that are going for super finals have been emerged.
KSU Steelers from the Kogi State University will Compete FUOYE Dazzlers of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti for the HiFL 2022 Champions. On the same day, NUGA 2022 Champions, UNILORIN Warriors and UNN Lions would battle in the third-place Playoffs.
According to Ikenna, one of UNN players and also Medical Laboratory Science 0’25 Team Captain, disclosed that UNN Lions had already played with DELSU Titan in Quarter Finals in Benin but unfortunately, UNN Lions lose against DELSU Titan with score 2:0. Later run, Officials discovered that DELSU Titan used Machineries to play against us, which led to disqualification of DELSU Titan and also got banned from participating in HIFL competition for the next three years. “That’s how Unn Lions got their Third Slot in playoffs”, he said.
However, reports also have it that the match will be LIVE on DSTV at Super Sport Variety 4 or at Super Sport Select 1 on GO TV.
