The Joint Admission Matriculation Board has decided to conduct a supplementary UTME for just 67 candidates who registered but were not able to sit for the exam due to unforeseen circumstances on Saturday 24th of Semptember, 2022.
The statement was delivered by the JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, on Monday in Abuja.
Mr. Fabian Benjamin said that the exam will be taken at strategic locations.
He added, that the candidates who had biometric challenges were given the opportunity to sit for a mop-up examination.
Mr. Fabian Benjamin said that the mop up exam that was written this year will not be a permanent feature in the board’s calendar.
Therefore, he said that any candidate that has any challenges will have to present the challenges during registration so as to be given a special consideration.
“The decision to consider the candidates is to ensure that no single innocent candidate is punished unjustly.
“These 67 candidates are, therefore, urged to print their supplementary examination notification slips from Monday, to know the centres where they would be sitting for the examination,” he said.
