Peter Obi unveils website for donation, campaign

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, launched an official website for fund donations and to promote his political campaign ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He made this announcement in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

As he urged his followers to visit the Obi-Datti Campaign organization’s official campaign website, Obi said that donations from interested donors may also be made using the platform.

He tweeted, “I invite every member of the OBIdient Family and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit. You can use that medium to support and donate in kind to the campaign.

“Later today, I’ll be speaking at Oxford University on “Trends and Prospects of Nigeria’s Economy: Broader Implications for Africa’s Development.”

Two days prior, concerned Nigerians expressed their worries that Obi’s campaign was being delayed by his constant consultation with his diaspora. This development has since been made.

Also, the Labour Party leadership said that the presidential campaign council could not be inaugurated because the party flagbearer, Peter Obi, and chairman, Julius Abure, were around.

Both Obi and Abure are currently participating in political rallies and activities sponsored by certain Nigerian expatriates.

According to the party National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, he said the constitution of the campaign council was being reviewed.

The party’s national publicity secretary also said that an inauguration date could not be given in the absence of the party’s chairman and the candidate.
