WAEC GCE Timetable 2023 (1st Series) Out – Check It Here

The WAEC GCE Timetable has been released for the 2023 First Series of the exam. It is recommended for all candidates who have registered for the exam to utilize this timetable as a reference to understand when their enrolled subjects will be covered.

The 2023 GCE test is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and finish on February 17, 2023, per the WAEC schedule.

According to the schedule below, the test is planned to take place:

Note:

Difference in Time on the Question Paper and the Timetable

  • Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
  • Question papers will be distributed in advance of the exam dates.
    • Visual Art 3 Paper 3A: Instructions will be given to supervisors two weeks before the paper is due.
      Paper 3B—Question papers will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
    • General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3
      The question paper for General Knowledge—In-Art 3 will be given to candidates two weeks before the test is due.
    • Block Laying, Bricklaying, and Concrete Works 3 (Practical)
      The question paper will be given to candidates three days before it is due to be taken.
    • Project Work Papers
      The question papers for project work in basketry, graphic design, leatherwork, ceramics, sculpture, picture making, textiles, and jewelry will be forwarded to candidates two weeks in advance of the examination. The exact date for the delivery of question papers to candidates will be communicated to them.
  • Extra time for candidates who are blind or deaf.
    Candidates who are blind or deaf should be given one and a half times the time allotted to other candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions

When Will the WAEC GCE Exam Results Be Available?

  • WAEC GCE results will be available 40 days (approximately two (2) months) after the last paper; more information is available on the “WAEC Result Release Date.”

Is WAEC GCE difficult to pass?

  • NO! WAEC is very easy to pass once you prepare for it, but students who do not make the effort to prepare for the exam as they should will find it a hard nut to crack.

When Will the WAEC-GCE Exams Begin?

Beginning on January 31, 2023, the WAEC GCE First Series will begin with Nigerian Language (Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba) (Essay and OBJ).
