Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, a Nigerian superstar singer just revealed that he has been using the same phone number for the last eight years now.
He revealed this during an interview he has with Apple Music, when he was asked if he still had the “Ojuelegba number”.
Wizkid, responded saying that he still had the same phone, and he even acquired a new one recently.
The interviewer who was surprised said, if she was in wizkid shoes she would have changed the phone number a long time ago after his “Ojuelegba” single became a global hit or even after his “Brown Skin Girl” collaboration with American music star, Beyonce, in her Lion King album. But Wizkid just laughed.
Also, when he was asked, if he would be blocking people on his new phone, he laughed and said he has already done so many blockings on his old number over the years.
He then added, that its because a lot of people don’t have his old number that’s why he’s keeping it.
